How to change the Document Root Directory of a website in plesk

By default, Plesk sets the httpdocs directory as the Document Root directory for all hosted domains. Sometimes you might want to set a different folder as Document root. Say you want to set httpdocs/shop as the document root. For this please follow the steps below.
1. Login to plesk control panel.
2. In the left sidebar, click Websites & Domains.
3. Click Hosting settings
4. In the Document root text box, type the file path you want to use for the new document root directory. Here httpdocs/shop
5. Click OK and Plesk changes the document root directory for the website.
